The hub of a good CCTV system is the Digital Video Recorder - DVR - we have access to a wide range of DVRs for any application.
One common misconception is that cameras can see more than they are able. It is our opinion that a number of cameras need to be installed to adequately cover an area. You need close up cameras for identification, and wide view cameras to see what's happening, one camera cannot do both at the same time.
If you want a cheap system that will disappoint you, there are plenty of products available from electronic and hardware retail stores which you can install yourself illegally (and we scratch our heads as to why they are allowed to sell them).
